MatchHub help · Getting started
What MatchHub does
MatchHub runs club competitions. Administrators publish the draw. Team managers enter the scores. The ladder updates when both teams agree on the result.
These guides use tennis. Padel, pickleball, squash, badminton and table tennis work the same way. Only some words change, for example a table tennis court is a table.
The words MatchHub uses
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Competition | One season, for example "2026 · Winter interclub". |
| Division | A group of teams that play each other. |
| Fixture | One team against another team on one occasion. |
| Match | One singles or doubles contest inside a fixture. |
| Scorecard | The players and scores for every match in a fixture. |
| Ladder | The teams in a division, in order of points. |
Who does what
- Administrators set up competitions and publish the draw.
- Team managers and assistant managers pick the players, enter the scores and approve the other team's scorecard.
- Players and followers read the draw and the ladder. Read Find a draw, a ladder or a team.
How a season works
- The administrator publishes the draw.
- Each manager picks the players.
- One manager enters the scores and submits the scorecard.
- The other team's manager or assistant manager approves it.
- The result shows on the public draw and the ladder updates.
An administrator can also approve a result without the managers, for example when the managers cannot agree.
